THOMAS THOMAS PASSES AWAY
Thomas Thomas, 59, passed away at the Neillsville Hospital Saturday March 22, 1941. In January he had been ill with the flu and suffered a relapse which in Madison on county business a few weeks ago. He was brought to the Neillsville Hospital and was making a nice recovery, his death being very unexpected.
Mr. Thomas, so of Pauline and Henry W. Thomas, was born at Aurora, Waushara County, Feb. 15, 1882, and was united in marriage to Edna Jorgan Feb. 23, 1903.
He was a buttermaker by trade and worked at Berlin for severalyears before taking up farming, and in 1914 came to the Town of Weston, Clark County, where he has since made his home. He had been chairman of the Town of Weston for six years and chairman of the Clark County Board of Supervisors at the tiim of his death, clerk of his school district for the past 12 years. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Wendell (Irene) Carter, Detroit, Mich. a sister Mrs. Clara Stetter. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
