OBITUARY OF MRS. HARVEY HOWARD PASSES AWAY
Mrs. Harvey (Eunice) Howard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Miller, was born Nov. 1,1886 at Kushkonang and had reached the age of 64 years, 5 months and 3 days and passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Thursday April 2, 1941.
She was united in marriage to Harvey Howard July 4, 1906 at West Union, Iowa. To this union were born 12 children. Three preceded her in death, Eddie Max, Ruth and Lawrence.
The Howard family resides on the Mary Potter farm, 4 miles south of Greenwood, Clark County, since last November, moving there from Globe.
She is survived by her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Fred (Leota) Murphy of Christie, Mrs. Ellen Hanson, Mrs. Lola Tomlinson and Doris at home five sons, Hught, Harvery, Theodore, Glen and John 8 grandchildren one sister, Mrs. Ellen Duffy of Chicago, 3 brothers, Fred Miller of Fond du Lac Tomiller of Alma, Iowa, Elmer Miller of Berkley, Calif. And a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday from the home, Rev. C.R. Gaylord of Stanley and Rev. A.J. Abbott of the local Methodist Church officiated. Rev. and Mrs. Hollis Abbott sang two
songs: Face To Face and Jesus Blesses Jesus at the service. On Saturday the body was taken to West Union, Iowa, where another service and burial was held.
The honorary pallbearers were Albert Merlack, Ewald Worchel, Lawrence Tomlinson, Richard Hagendorn of Globe, Louis Brown and Harry Hanson of Greenwood.
