THOMAS R. ETTA PASSES AWAY


Thomas R. Etta
, 78, a resident of Loyal, Clark County, died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 1941 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he was taken last Thursday for an emergency operation.


Mr. Etta was born Dec. 14, 1862 at New Faine, Fond du Lac County and lived there until he was 21, when he went to work in neighboring cities. On Oct. 14, 1868 he was united in marriage with Bertha Stange in Greenwood and went to live in Kewaskum for four years.


He came to Loyal in 1892 and went into business with his brother Henry.


Surviving are his wife and one son, Clarence, Minneapolis two daughters, Miss Eva Etta at home and Mrs. Celia Woodkey, Marshfield 12 grandchildren two brothers, Henry, Loyal and George, Sunnyside, Wash. one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Keorble, Kewarskum and two half-brothers, John and Julius, Kewaskum.


Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 from the home and at 2 o'clock from the M.E. Church in Loyal this afternoon.
The Stabnow Funeral Home of this city is in charge.
