PERMAN FUNERAL IS HELD AT GREENWOOD
FATHER NOVAK READS REQUIEM MASS AT St. Mary's

Greenwood Funeral rites were held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church for Daniel Perman, 59, who died at 7 p.m. Oct. 23, 1947 at his home north of Greenwood, Clark County. The Rev. John Novak was in charge of the Requiem High Mass and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were Edmund Hemmersbach, Ed Maass, Robert Nerbun, Gerald Steffen, Victor Perman, and John D. Speich.

Mr. Perman was born in Yugoslavia March 28, 1888, came to the United States when he was 18 years old, and was married March 19, 1921 at St. Mary's Church, Greenwood, to Julia Ozbolt Tomac. Since his marriage he lived on a farm.

Surviving are his widow and eight children, Mrs. Ed (Mary) Maass, Greenwood Joseph Tomac, Greenwood Mrs. Gerald (Ann) Steffen, Greenwood Mrs. Ed (Christina) Hemmersbach, Millington, Ill. Mrs. Robert (Dede) Nerbun, Menominee, Mich. Miss Katherine Perman, Owen Victor Perman, at home and Miss Margaret Perman, Menomonie, Wis.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Jenny) Ruzic, Hillsville, Pa.

People from out of town who came for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Maass, Appleton Mrs. Edwin Michels, Oconto Falls Miss Audrey Michels, Chippewa Falls Mrs. Louis Ozbolt and son, Louis, Prt Arthur, Ontario, Canada Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Hemmersbach and sons, Millinton, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Nerbun and son, Menominee, Mich. Miss Margaret Perman, Menomonie Mrs. Cleve Evans, Mrs. Margaret Plummer, Mrs. Calvin Mills, and Mrs. E. Pergett, Owen and members of the S.N.P.J o f Willard.
