PEKOL RITES TO BE CONDUCTED MONDAY
WILLARD FARMER HAD BEEN RESIDENT OF WISCONSIN SINCE 1913


Greenwood--Joseph Pekol, 64, retired farmer residing in the village of Willard, Clark County, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. He had been in poor health for several years and had been a patient at the hospital for several weeks.


The body is lying in state at the Pekol home. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery.


Mr. Pekol was born in Yugoslavia in April, 1883 and came to Willard from Joliet, Ill. 35 years ago. He had lived in Willard and vicinity ever since. He retired from farming about 10 years ago.


Surviving besides his wife are four sons, Joseph, Chicago Stanley, Frank and Edward, all of Willard and three daughters, Mrs. Helen Zahrajsek, Downers Grove, Ill. Mrs. John (Julia) Pernic, Willard and Sister M. Emelda, Kansas City.
