ROY KROKSON, 40, DIES IN GREENWOOD


HEART ATTACK CAUSES DEATH OF 40-YEAR-OLD MAN FUNERAL SUNDAY


Greenwood--Roy Krokson, 40, died of a heart attack Thursday, July 1, 1948 at 11 a.m. on his way home from Greenwood, Clark County. He recently had been hospitalized at Neillsville.


Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the United Lutheran Church, the Rev. Theodore Nelson officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Schiller Funeral Home until the time of the funeral services.


Mr. Krokson, son of the late Martin Krokson and Mrs. Sidney Krokson Heidrich, Greenwood, was born in Greenwood, May 6, 1908.


Surviving besides his mother are his wife, the former Winifred Oswald two brothers, Arthur and Alvin, both of Chicago and three sisters, Mrs. Lila Hotchkiss, Eau Claire Mrs. Frank (Evelyn) Trampush, Greenwood and Mrs. Don (Edith) Drew, Viroqua.
