MISS ROSETTA HILLIER


Greenwood Funeral rites were held Thursday at Fox Lake for Miss Rosetta Frances Hillier, 81, Fox Lake, who died Oct. 10, 1948 at Greenwood, Clark County, at the home of Miss Irene McConnell, where she had been residing since August. She fell about a year ago and her last illness developed as a result of injuries suffered in that fall.


Mrs. William Neuenfeldt and Miss Irene McConnell, Greenwood, are nieces of Miss Hillier. Mr. and Mrs. William Neuenfeldt and son, Gerald, and Miss Irene McConnell left Monday for Fox Lake. Miss McConnell returned here Sunday evening. Others attending the funeral Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Neuenfeldt and Mr. and Mrs. James Neuenfeldt, Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Neuenfeldt, Spencer.


Mill Hillier was born at Fox Lake July 25, 1867, and spent her entire life at Fox Lake. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Altar Society and was a charter member of the Fox Lake Woman's Club. Miss Hillier had visited Greenwood on many occasions.


Two sister, Mrs. J. T. (Elizabeth) Connor and Mrs. John (Mary) O'Connell and three brothers, Joseph, Samuel and William Hillier, besides her parents, preceded her in death.
