WETZEL RITES

Greenwood--Funeral rites for Junior Carl Wetzel, 22, Route 1, Owen, Clark County, who died July 4, 1949, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grace Methodist Church by the Rev. Lee H. Holmes, after which burial took place in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gordon Worden, Lyle and Kenneth Verhulst, Theodore Suda, and Francis Brey, all of Greenwood, and John Sopiaras, Thorp.

Mrs. Arles Offord, Withee, and Mrs. Robert Stewart Jr. and Mary Lou Stewart carried flowers. Mrs. Chal Perkins and Miss Evangeline Sheets sang Going Down the Valley and Asleep in Jesus. Miss Margaret Mlada was the piano accompanist.
