PAUL BOEHNEN


Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Chester Osowski, at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 3, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, for Paul Boehnen, 64, of Route 2, Loyal, Clark County, who passed away at 11:25 a.m. , Friday, Sept. 30, 1977.


A P.C.C.W. rosary was conducted at 3 p.m. and a Wake service at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2.


Interment was made in St. Anthony's Parish Cemetery. Rink Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.


Paul Boehnen was born to Jacob and Adelaide Boehnen at Alma Center on April 3, 1913. He received his education in Alma Center rural schools.


On Oct. 23, 1937, he was married to Frances Hoffmann at St. Joseph's Parish in Milwaukee. They lived in Milwaukee for six years after their marriage and then moved to the Loyal area in Sept. 1950, where he farmed until 1957. They continued living on the farm, and he was employed b the City of Loyal at their landfill site.


He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its men's Club. He was also a member of the Loyal Sportsman's Club and the Senior Citizens.


Surviving him are his wife, Frances four sons, Ronald of Colgate, Larry of Hubertus, Robert of Waukesha and Kenneth of Spencer four daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Marlene) Wucherpfennig of West Bend, Mrs. Robert (Kathleen) Schmidt of Milwaukee, Mrs. Glenn (Mary) Lazich of Middleton and Mrs. Kenneth (Eileen) Dux of Spencer two brothers, Bernard of Kelseyville, Calif., and Richard of Milwaukee two sisters, Miss Theresa Boehnen of Black River Falls, and Mrs. Rosella O'Connor of Sauk City and 15 grandchildren.


Serving as pallbearers were Andrew Waldhauser, Joe Hubing, Jerry Hubing, Robert Lau, Donald Cole and Ted Schlinsog.


He was preceded in death by six brothers, one sister and one grandchild.
