ARTHUR BRICK

Funeral services for Arthur O. Brick, 78, a resident of Greenwood Home for the aged, were conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15 at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood.

Mr. Brick passed away at 9:15 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1977 at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.

Officiating at the service was Rev. Larry Davis. Mrs. Elvera Humke, Mrs. Rose Humke and Mrs.. Myrna Richmond provided musical selections, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Schwarze on the organ. Interment was in the West Side Cemetery. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.

Arthur Brick was born in the Town of Warner, Clark County on April 28, 1899 and received his education at the Benjamin School. He lived in the Town of Warner all his life, living with his brother until 1969, when he moved to Greenwood. He was never married.

Surviving him are three brothers, Alvin of Greenwood, Raymond of Berwyn, Ill., and Elmer of Milwaukee and one sister, Mrs. Ralph (Irene) Dusso of Appleton.

Serving as pallbearers were Ervin Geisler, Roger Schwarze, Robert Dusso, Arlyn Dusso, Gary Dusso and Ray Dusso.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mathilda Brick and two brothers.

Brick, Arthur O. (28 April 1899 – 12 October 1977)

Arthur O. Brick, 78, of the Greenwood Home for the Aged, died at 9:15 p.m., Wednesday, at the Memorial Hospital, Neillsville, where he was admitted last week.

Mr. Brick was born April 28, 1899, in the Town of Warner. He received his education at Benjamin School, Town of Warner. He lived with his brother on a farm in Warner Township until 1969, when he moved to Greenwood.

Surviving are three brothers, Alvin of Greenwood; Raymond of Berwyn, Il., and Elmer of Milwaukee; and one sister, Mrs. Ralph (Irene) Dusso of Appleton. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

The Rinka Funeral Home in Greenwood was in charge of funeral services held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Greenwood. The Rev. Larry Davis, pastor, officiated, and burial was in the Westside Cemetery in Greenwood.

Pallbearers were Robert, Ray, Gary and Arlyn Dusso, all nephews, and Ervin Geisler and Robert Schwarze.

Mrs. Margaret Schwarze was the organist. Mrs. Elvera Humke, Mrs. Myrna Richmond and Mrs. Rose Caryl Humke sang “The Old Rugged Cross” and “How Great Thou Art” accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Alvin Albert.

People from away attending were Mr./Mrs. Ralph Dusso and family of Appleton, Mr./Mrs. Raymond Brick of Berwyn, Il., Mrs. Marvin Ernst of Weyawega, Mr/Mrs. Elmer Brick of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Roy Zarling of Milwaukee.
