MRS. SEVERSON DIES TODAY
FUNERAL TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY

Greenwood Funeral services for Mrs. May Severson, 74, tentatively have been set for 3 p.m. Monday at the Grace Methodist Church.

She died today, May 27, 1950 at her home at 5:30 a.m. of a heart attack. She had been in poor health since September. Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, the Rev. Lee Holmes officiating.

The body will rest at the Stabnow Funeral Home beginning Sunday noon. Mrs. Severson, nee Sheldon, was born Dec. 16, 1875 at Dundee. While a young girl she came to Clark County with her parents and lived on a farm near Unity.

Before her marriage to Sam Severson in Greenwood 56 years ago, she taught at the Christofferson School Northeast of here.

A resident of the village for the past 56 years, she was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the Grace Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Both groups will attend the funeral services en masse.

Surviving children include Claud and Hugh, Greenwood Mrs. Vernal (Mabel) Bold, McClusky, N.D. Mrs. Carl (Vivian) Schmidt, Bennett Mrs. Thomas (Marion) Ozanisch, Mrs. Harry (Leida) Kutzheim, and Miss Angela Severson, all of Milwaukee Mrs. Leroy (Grace) Kretlow, Cedarburg Mrs. Paul (Bertha) Brandt, Stratford and Mrs. Lester (Gertrude) Schuette and Mrs. Ernst (Dorothy) Molle, both of Unity.

Three sisters, Mrs. John Fuller, Unity Mrs. Leida Steck, Count de Lane, Idaho and Emily, Oakland, Calif. a brother, Chester, Merrill and 24 grandchildren also survive.

Her husband, three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
