GREENWOOD MAN DIES AT OWEN


FUNERAL SERVICES ARE SET FOR FRIDAY


Greenwood--Funeral services for Thomas Leach, 86, Greenwood, Clark County, who died at Owen Tuesday, Oct. 10, 1950, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Grace Methodist Church. The Rev. Lee Holmes will officiate and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
The body will repose at the Stabnow Funeral Home until the time of services.


Mr. Leach was born at Gilmanton, Dec. 13, 1863, and received his education in Eleva. He was married on March 14, 1888 to Edith Hanny.
They lived in Eleva until 1900 when the moved to the Town of Eaton, near Greenwood. In 1908 they moved from the farm to Greenwood, where Mr. Leach operated a meat market until 1932. In that year they moved to a farm 2 miles southwest of Greenwood. He had been a resident of the Greenwood area for 50 years.


Mr. Leach was a ember of the Grace Methodist Church.


He was preceded in death by his wife in 1946, one daughter who died in infancy, one grandchild, three sisters, and three brothers.


Surviving are two sons, Ira, Neillsville, and Erwin at home.
