FALL TODAY FATAL TO GREENWOOD MAN
LOUIE WEBER DROPS TO GROUND WHEN SCAFFOLD ON SILO GIVES WAY

Greenwood--Louie Weber, about 70, one of a crew of men painting buildings on the John Wuethrich farm, 3 miles south of Greenwood, Clark County on Highway 73, died shortly before noon today, when he fell to the ground while painting the silo. The scaffold gave way when a rope broke.

Mr. Weber, who died of his injuries before a doctor could be summoned, lived on a farm 2 miles west of Greenwood.

Surviving are his wife, the former Anna Waseca, and four sons and four daughters, Mrs. Jerold (Leona) Syth and Carl and Victor Weber, all of Greenwood, Mrs. Lee (Celia) Curley and Miss Mildred Weber, both of Milwaukee Mrs. Adeline Thompson, Grandmarsh Staff Sgt. Bernard Weber, Texas and Patrick Weber, with the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific.

Funeral arrangements have not been made.
