GREENWOOD WOMAN DIES EARLY SUNDAY
SERVICES FOR MRS. THOMAS LEACH WILL BE CONDUCTED THURSDAY


Greenwood--Mrs. Thomas Leach, 77, died at 2 o'clock Sunday morning, Nov. 10, 1946 at her home in the Town of Eaton, Clark County, following a long illness.


The body will lie in state at the Stabnow Funeral Home beginning Tuesday noon and funeral rites will be conducted there Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, followed by a 2 o'clock service at Grace Methodist Church. The Rev. Lee Holmes will officiate and interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Mrs. Leach, the former Edith Hanny, was born at Augusta March 14, 1870, and was married at Eleva in 1889 to Thomas Leach. She received her education at Augusta, where she lived until she was 16 years old. She then resided at Eleva until coming to Greenwood in 1900 to farm for eight years in the Town of Eaton. From 1935 until her death she lived on a farm, 2 miles south of Greenwood, in the Town of Eaton.


Surviving are her husband and two sons, Ira and Erwin, both of Greenwood. One daughter is dead. Also surviving are five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Arthur Hanny, Greenwood.
