CLINTON HEMBRE RITES ARE HELD IN GREENWOOD


Greenwood--Funeral services were conducted at the Trondhjem Lutheran Church of Greenwood Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. M. K. Aaberg for Clinton Hembre, 33, son of Mr. and Mrs. Iver J. Hembre, who died March 16, 1947 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire. A service at 1:30 o'clock was held at the Schiller Funeral Home.


Special music was provided by two of his nieces, Mrs. Mildred Manke and Janice Ludwigsen, who sang Hold Thou My Hand and The Lord's Prayer , respectively. Interment took place in the Greenwood, Clark County Cemetery.


Mr. Six cousins, Carl and Arthur Turnquist, Olaf, Hoken and Ralph Ystad, and Arthur Hendrickson served as pallbearers.


Those from out of town at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Julius Hembre, Montevideo, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. Ingvald Hembre and family, Barron Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Meyer and son, David, and daughter, Kathleen, and Emil Hembre and daughter, Carol, Cameron Mr. and Mrs. Helmer Hembre and son, Richard, La Crosse Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ludwigsen and daughters, Mrs. Mildred Manke, Janice and Edna Pearl Ludwigsen, Wlater Ludwigsen, Milwaukee and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sosada, Racine.
