MRS. MARY EHLERS
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ehlers, 74, of Route 1, Greenwood, Clark County, were conducted by Rev. Robert Houston of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Mrs. Ehlers passed away after being stricken with an apparent heart attack while attending Saturday evening Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood and was ushered by ambulance, but was dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville on Nov. 5, 1977.
Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.
Mary Morgal was born on Aug. 1, 1903 at Albany, Minn. She graduated from Neillsville High School.
She was married at Greenwood on Jan. 11, 1924 to Alvin Ehlers. They farmed in the Town of Eaton for 45 years. She had been residing on the home farm.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Ann's Circle.
Surviving her are two sons, Alvin, Jr. of Neillsville and William of Greenwood one daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Amy) Olson of Waukesha three sisters, Miss Amy Morgal of Willard, Miss Margaret Morgal of Willard, and Miss Emily Morgal of Willard one brother, Frank of Willard and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, on July 10, 1977.
Pallbearers were George Bauer, Frank Klinke, Reynold Syth, Ray Rondorf, Jesse Tomlinson and Mel Hanson.
A Monday Prayer Service was conducted at 8:30 p.m.
