Greenwood--Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hill Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church for Mrs. Katarina Anne Briski, 76, of Greenwood, Clark County, who died at 6:20 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 1971 at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville, where she had been a patient since Feb. 7.


In the absence of the pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. Michael Mertens, pastor of Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard, will officiate and burial will be made in St. Mary's
parish cemetery.


Visitations may be made beginning today (Friday) at the Hill Funeral Home, where a general rosary service will be held at 8:30 p.m. today.


The former Katarina Najnarac, was born Feb. 12, 1894 in Yugoslavia, and was married in 1922, in Greenwood, to Joseph Briski Sr., who preceded her in death June 5, 1952. The couple had farmed on route 3, Greenwood.


Survivors include two sons, Ivan Briski, route 3, Greenwood, and Joseph Briski Jr., Niles, Ill. three daughters, Mrs. George (Goldie) Trybula, Withee; Mrs. George (Olga) Kolonits, Brookfield, Ill.; and Miss Margaret Briski, Chicago; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Jack (Mary) Gasperac, Greenwood; Mrs. Kenneth (Katherine) Morton, Troy, N.Y.; Mrs. Clifton (Jennie) Miller, Gary, Ind.; and Mrs. Edward (Ann) Ethridge, Bumingham, Ind.; 19 grandchildren 26 great-grandchildren a brother and a sister, Matt and Sylvia Najnarac, both of Yugoslavia.
