MRS. FRANCES HINKER
Greenwood--Mrs. Frances E. Hinker, 83, of Greenwood, Clark County, died at 5:30 a.m. Friday at the Marshfield Convalescent Center, where she has been a resident since June 19, 1970.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood and at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church there. The Rev. Leander Koopman, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be made in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home beginning Sunday afternoon. A general rosary will be prayed there at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
The former Frances E. Einch was born Dec. 22, 1889, in Ossian, Iowa. Her marriage on Sept. 10, 1910, at Festina, Iowa, was to Edward B. Hinker, who preceded her in death in 1949.
After their marriage they lived in Ossian until coming to Greenwood in 1913. They settled on a farm 1 miles
southeast of here and lived there until 1936, when they moved to the city of Greenwood. She became a resident of the Marshfield Convalescent Home after fracturing her hip three years ago.
Those surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. Greg (Edna) Hinker, Ossian, Iowa two sons, Marcellus Hinker, Effingham, Ill. And Cletus Hinker, Burbank, Ill. 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, three sons, Alfonse in 1930, Richard in 1942, and Sylvester in 1972, and two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
