MICHAEL C. BRISKI


Michael C. Briski, 64, Route 3, Greenwood, Clark County, was found dead at his home Friday, Dec. 19, 1986 at 4:22 p.m.


Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Robert Streveler officiated. Pallbearers were Matt Kopacz, James Petranovich, Fred Letvinuck, Arthur Olsak, William Aglewich and Frank Vivoda.


He was born April 8, 1922 to Mike Sr. and Mary (nee Zagar) Briski in Greenwood. He received his education in a rural Greenwood School. On Aug. 2, 1947, he married Dorothy Harycki at St. Hedwigs in Thorp. He worked as a milk hauler for Greenwood Milk Products for 35 years, retiring in 1980. He played concertina since he was 12. He performed as a one-man-band and also with a band called Wildwood Polka Boys.


He was a member of St. Mary's Church.


He is survived by his wife, Dorothy two sons, Jerome and Duane of Greenwood one brother, Frank, Thorp three sisters, Mrs. William (Mary) Agrewich, Cicero, Ill, and Mrs. Frank (Anna) Vivoda, Cicero, Ill., Mrs. Joseph (Zora) Marvin, Hillside, Ill. and four grandchildren.


He is preceded in death by one sister, Helen and his parents.


Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
