MARIE LINDNER


Mrs. Marie Lindner
, 83, Greenwood, Clark County, died Tuesday, July 2, 1991, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 5, 1991, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Rev. Michael Mertens officiated and burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.


Pallbearers were grandsons, Scott Lindner, Dale Lindner, Jim Herdrich, Mitch Lindner, Brian Janezich, Tony Wilke, Gary Lindner, Dean Lindner and Bradley Wessell.


Marie Keller was born Jan. 21, 1908, in Richland County, to John and Gertrude (nee Moll) Keller. She received her education in Cazenovia, Wis.


She married Casper Lindner June 22, 1927, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. They farmed in the town of Loyal from 1927 1965. They then moved to Greenwood. He preceded her in death March 9, 1983. She was a member of St. Mary's Parish and St. Ann's Society.


Survivors include five sons, Carl Lindner, Greenwood; Donald Lindner, Greenwood; LaVerne Lindner, Loyal; Arthur Lindner, Loyal; and Richard Lindner, Loyal; six daughters, Elaine Herdrich, Greenwood; Jacqueline, Lindner, Greenwood; Irene (Frank) Wilke, Loyal; Jeanette (Joe) Sullivan, McLean, Va.; Shirley (Henry) Janezich, Willard; and Dorothy Wessel, Sheboygan; one sister, Olive Klinke, Greenwood; 48 grandchildren and 63 great-grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five brothers, two sisters, one grandson and one great-granddaughter.


Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
