ELMER LEARMAN
Elmer Learman, 84, Greenwood, Clark County, died Wednesday, March 4, 1992, a Neillsville Memorial Home, Neillsville. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 1992, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Greenwood. Rev. Robert Olson of Spencer officiated and burial was in the Braun Settlement Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jason Learman, James A. Learman, Daryn Horn, James Ziegler, Harry Johnson, and Tony Rychnovsky.
Elmer Learman was born Aug. 6, 1907, in New London, Wis., to Charles and Maria (nee Pasch) Learman. He received his education at New London.
Before his marriage, he worked for Wisconsin Power and Light at Clintonville. He married Gertrude Liebzeit June 10, 1939, at West Side Church, Greenwood. She survives. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1989. After their marriage, they lived in Greenwood and he worked for Clark Electric as a lineman and lineman superintendent for 3 years, retiring in 1972. He was a ember of trinity Lutheran Church and served on the church board.
Survivors include his wife one daughter, Mrs. Karlene Horn, Greenwood; one son, James E. Learman, Greenwood; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Hidde, New London; Mrs. Adeline Krause, New London; and Mrs. Everett (Gertrude) Johnson, Berlin and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers, and three sisters.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
