Kocher, Ann Bertha Marie (1887 - 1966)


GREENWOOD
--Mrs. Frederick Kocher, 78, Milwaukee, a former Greenwood, Clark County resident, died following surgery at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 1966 in St. Joseph's Hospital at Milwaukee, where she had been a patient for nine days.


Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood with the Rev. Carl Booher, pastor of the Grace Methodist Church, Greenwood, officiating. Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


The body will repose at the funeral home from this afternoon until time of services.


The former Ann Bertha Marie Picker was born Oct. 10, 1887, at Wauwatosa, and was married there Feb. 5, 1910, to Frederick A. Kocher, who preceded her in death May 30, 1961.


Shortly after their marriage, the couple came to the Greenwood area, where they farmed for 38 years, where they lived until retiring in 1958. Since then they had made their home with their son, Ralph and family in Milwaukee.


Survivors are four sons, Ralph, James and Herbert Kocher, Milwaukee; and Donald Kocher, Greenwood; a brother, Arthur Picker, Milwaukee; and 14 grandchildren.


Two sisters preceded her in death.
