Jelercic, Vincent (1875 - 1965)


GREENWOOD--Vincent Jelercic, 90, Willard, Clark County, died at 2:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 1965, at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield, where he had been a patient since Feb. 10, after fracturing a hip.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. Carl Booher, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Mr. Jelecic was born Jan. 22, 1875, in Yugoslavia. His marriage to Mary Fabcic, who preceded him in death April 7, 1919, took place Jan. 7, 1905, at Lorraine, Ohio. In 1911 the couple came to Willard and resided on the farm which is now operated by his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Val Yurkovich.


He was a member of the Slovanian National Benefit Society.


Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Mary) Raik, (rest cut off)
