Drenik, Frank (1904 - 1964)
GREENWOOD--Frank Drenik, 59, Greenwood, Clark County, died after a stroke Tuesday, Jan. 8, 1963 at the Havenet Nursing Home at Owen, where he had been a patient for the past month. Mr. Drenik had been in poor health for the past several years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. David Kellin, pastor of the Grace Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home from Thursday afternoon until time of services.
Frank Drenik was born Aug. 28, 1904 in Yugoslavia, and came to the United States at the age of 16, settled in Kansas City, Kan. He then moved to Waukegan, Ill., where his marriage to Pauline Mahoric took place Jan. 30, 1930. In 1947, the couple came from Kenosha to Greenwood, and had resided 4 miles south of Greenwood ever since.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Allen (Tillie) Truax, Kenosha two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ernest (Louise) Baker, Orange, Texas and Mrs. Frank (Edith) Musech, Waukegan, Ill. a stepson, S. Sgt. Frank Mahoric, U.S.A., stationed in Germany and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a stepson, Paul Mahoric.
