Briski, Matt (1906 - 1963)

GREENWOOD--Funeral services for Matt Briski, 56, who died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, were held at 9 a.m. today at the Hill funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Augustine Baro, missionary at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sparta, officiated.

Mr. Briski was born Nov. 11, 1906, in Chisholm. He never married.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Katherine Briski, Greenwood, seven sisters, Mrs. Matt (Mary) Malnar, Greenwood, Mrs. Matt (Elizabeth) Stimac, Erwin, Ill., Mrs. Joe (Julia) Vivoda, Berwyn, Ill. Mrs. Steve (Katherine) Gulczinski, Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Florian (Angeline) Gulczinski, Greenwood Mrs. Stanley (Rose) Malaszuk, Thorp, Mrs. Stanley (Delores) Lendosky, Thorp, and six brothers, Tony, Berwyn, Ill., Frank, Robert and Ted, Greenwood Albert, Minneapolis, Minn., and John, Withee.
