Moldenhauer, Richard W. (1894 - 1963)
GREENWOOD--Richard W. Moldenhauer, 68, Greenwood, Clark County, died at his home Wednesday, Feb. 6, 1963. He had been ill for the past four months and death was attributed to heart failure following lung cancer.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Immanuel United Church of Christ by the Rev. Orval Egbert. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
Visitations may be made at the Hill Funeral Home from Friday afternoon until 11 a.m. Saturday, when the body will be taken to the church.
Mr. Moldenhauer was born Oct. 23, 1894, in Shawano and was married Feb. 3, 1921, to Hermina Hoesly at Stratford. He was a cheesemaker and processing manager in this area for many years. He returned to farming about 10 years ago.
Survivors include his wife two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Alice) Killian, Milwaukee, and Dr. Ruth Moldenhauer, Red Bluff, Calif. a son, Ray Moldenhauer, Monmouth, Ill. four grandchildren fours sisters, Mrs. Walter Weix, Shawano Mrs. Helmuth Verch, Mrarion Mrs. Woodrow Boaz, McKenzie, Tenn. and Mrs. Robert Evans, Inkster, Mich. and three brothers, Otto Moldenhauer, Chicago Mark Moldenhauer, McKenzie, Tenn. and Alex Moldenhauer, Greenwood.
Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
