Petkovsek, Margaret M. (1905 - 1962)


GREENWOOD--Mrs. Margaret M. Petkosek, 57, Greenwood, Clark County, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 14, 1962, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, where she had been a patient for the past three weeks. She had been in ill health for a number of years.


Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Daniel Zielske officiating. Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home from Friday noon until 11 a.m. Saturday, when the body will be taken to the church.


The former Margaret Bubai was born Feb. 13, 1905, in Hungary. She came to the United States as a small child with her parents and was married to John Petkosek in 1923 in Chicago. The couple lived in Springfield, Ill., until 1950, when they moved to Greenwood and had lived here since. Mr. Petkosek died on Feb. 26, 1956. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Lutheran Woman's Missionary Society and for many years she had been treasurer of the Clark County Cancer Society.


She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Marion Jacobs, Miami Beach, Fla. a sister, Mrs. Leona Moon, Homestead, Fla., and a foster sister, Mrs. Max Cooper, McKeesport, Pa.
