Perme, Joseph (1873 - 1962)


GREENWOOD--Funeral services for Joseph Perme, 89, Willard, Clark County, who died at his home at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 1962, will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood and at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. The Rev. Sylvester Mirko will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.


Friends may call at the funeral home, where a general rosary service will be conducted at 8 o'clock tonight.


Mr. Perme was born June 20, 1873, in Yugoslavia. He came to the United States at the age of 22 and settled in Ely, Minn., where he was married 60 years ago to Mary Kopkocrizetz.
After their marriage, the couple resided in Duluth, Minn., and in 1916 they came to this area, where they operated a farm until 13 years ago, when they retired and moved to the village of Willard. He was a member of the Holy Family Church.


He is survived by his wife three daughters, Mrs. Edward (Mary) Steblay, San Bernadino, Calif., Mrs. Anthony (Molly) Prebil, Willard and Mrs. Christine Kunkel, Milwaukee three sons, John, Willard Joseph, Sacramento, Calif. and Frank, Minneapolis 11 grandchildren four great-grandchildren.
A son, Louis, preceded him in death.
