Shields, Isadore (1888 - 1969)


GREENWOOD--Miss Isadore G. Shields, 80, Greenwood, Clark County, died Sunday afternoon, April 20, 1969 at the Neillsville Memorial Home, where she had resided since Jan. 29, 1968.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Carl Booher, pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home from noon Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday, and then at the church.


Miss Shields was born June 11, 1888, in the Town of Eaton, to the late Hiram W. Shields and Carolyn Odgers Shields. After the death of her parents she continued to make her home with her brothers, Richard and Chester, who also preceded her in death. She was a lifelong resident of the Town of Eaton until she went to the Memorial Home.


Survivors include four nieces.
