Jennie E. Jakobi, 78, of Bakersfield, Calif. Passed away on Thursday, March 30, 1978, a Bakersfield, Calif.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jakobi will be conducted by Rev. Keith Schroerlucke at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 6, at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer. Interment will be in the Veefkind Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, at 9 a.m., Thursday, April 6, until the time of the funeral.
Jennie E. Eibergen was born at Chili, Clark County on Dec. 14, 1899. She was married to William Jakobi on July 17, 1918 at Neillsville. The Jakobi's were former residents of the Spencer area until 1949 when they moved to Bakersfield.
Surviving her are her husband, William two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Jeanette) Spiner of Kaukauna, Wis., and Mrs. Jed (Geraldine) Pearsall of West Salem, Wis. one brother, William Eibergen of Granton eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jakobi, Jennie (14 December 1899 – 30 March 1978)
Mrs. William Jakobi, 78, former, Clark County resident, died Thursday, March 30,
at a hospital in Bakersfield, California. Mrs. Jakobi, the former Jennie
Eibergen, was born December 14, 1899, in Chili. She was married July 17, 1918,
to William Jakobi in Neillsville. They resided in Clark County and Antigo before
moving to California in 1949.
She is survived by her husband of Bakersfield, two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Jennette)
Steener of Kaukauna and Mrs. Jed (Geraldine) Persall of West Salem, eight
grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one brother, William Eibergen.
She was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, one sister and four
brothers.
Tentative plans for funeral services are being made for Wednesday, April 5, at
the Reux Funeral Home in Spencer at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be made in the Sherman
Township – Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
