Sonderegger, Clarence (1911 - 1956)


GREENWOOD--Clarence Elmer Sonderegger, operator of a radio and television business at Christie, Clark County, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 1956 at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville, of pneumonia. He was 45 years old.


The Rev. Charles Koch will officiate at final rites at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church here. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Mr. Sonderegger came to the Greenwood area with his parents in 1916 from Blanchardville, where he was born April 9, 1911. They lived on a farm northeast of here. He attended Maple Center School and Loyal High School. He married Laura Brown Dec. 31, 1939, in this city. He began his present business in 1952.


Besides his wife, he leaves eight children, William 15, Thomas 14, Shirley Ann 12, Duwayne 10, Judith 8, Gordon 6, Beatrice 3, Paul 11 months his mother, Mrs. William Sonderegger, Greenwood a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Inez) Lang .(The rest of my copy was cut off)
