Dow, Irving Floyd (1896 - 1968)


GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY--Irving Floyd Dow, 72, Greenwood, died of a heart ailment Thursday evening, May 2, 1968 in the Memorial Hospital at Neillsville, where he had been a patient for the past two days.


Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Methodist Church here with the Rev. Carl Booher officiating. Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


The body will repose at the Hill Funeral Home here from Sunday afternoon until 11 a.m. Monday, and then at the church.


Mr. Dow was born March 12, 1896, at Chili, and was married Nov. 24, 1922, at Marshfield to Eldora Orsburn.


After their marriage, the couple lived and farmed in the Town of Mead, Clark County.


In addition to his wife, survivors are two daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Geraldine) Monnier, and Mrs. Salal.. (Joyce) Rafia, Chicago a son, Robert Dow, Chicago and eight grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by .(the rest of my copy was cut off)
