ARTHUR KRONBERGER
Services for Arthur William Kronberger, 80, a former Town of York, Clark County resident, were held at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 26.
Mr. Kronberger passed away at 5 a.m., Sunday, April 23 at Harvest Nursing Home in Owen.
Rev. Bruno Schlactenhaufen, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, conducted the services. Mrs. Erwin Dux was the soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Julie Feldt on the organ.
Interment was in the Lutheran Cemetery.
Arthur Kronberger was born on Oct. 17, 1896 in the Town of York to Leonard and Barbara Kronberger. He received his education at Lincoln rural school in the Town of York.
He was never married. He farmed all his life in the Town of York, retiring in 1965 when he moved to the old folks home at Greenwood for three years. Then he moved to the hotel at Owen and has been residing at the Havenet Nursing Home in Owen for the past year.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal.
Surviving him are two brothers, Leo of Route 1, Neillsville and Frank of Route 1, Loyal four sisters, Mrs. Rose Seidelman, Neillsville, Miss Mollie Kronberger, Owen, Mrs. Frank (Carrie) Morse, Loyal and Mrs. Orville (Clara) Kolkofen, Baton Rouge, La.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Serving as pallbearers were Tony Walter, Sr., Joe Hoeser, Leon Hoeser, Nyle Benedict, Jim Schecklman and Jim Pongratz.
