Meyer, Ronald (1930 - 1978)


Ronald Meyer, 47, of route 2, Loyal, Clark County, died at 2 a.m., May 3, 1978 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.


Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 5, 1978 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, with the Rev. Bruno Schlactenhaufen officiating and burial was in the Riverside Cemetery at Mondovi, Wis. Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Mr. Meyer was born Oct. 24, 1930 in Eau Claire to Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Meyer. He received his education in the Modena Grade Schools and Mondovi High School. He was married to Lyla Moe on June 19, 1954 at Mondovi. The lived in Illinois from 1955 until 1968, when they moved to Loyal. They farm in the Town of Loyal. Mr. Meyer was on the church council. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and active as a 4-H Leader for many years.


Survivors include his wife, Lyla, four sons, David, University of Eau Claire John, University of Eau Claire Robert, University of Wis., Madison and James at home his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Meyer, Granton and one brother, Gerald, Wildwood, Ill.


Pallbearers were Roger Marten, Kenneth marten, Keith McCredie, Wendel Multhaup, Delbert Nelson, and Robert Lurndal. The organist was Ronald Gluch and the congregation sang.
