Cronin, Jay E. (1894 - 1961)


GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY--Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Albinson-Peterson Funeral Chapel in Minneapolis, Minn., for Jay (Pat) E. Cronin, 57, who died March 12, 1961 at the Veterans Hospital at fort Snelling, Minn. The Rev. M.B. Tollesrud officiated and burial was made in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery.


Mr. Cronin was born in Wabasha, Minn., Jan. 7, 1894. He came to Greenwood with his parents in 1898 and received his education here. He served during World War I and for many years was a pitcher for various baseball clubs in North Dakota and Wisconsin. He was married to the former Levina Moberg of Greenwood, who survives him.


For the past several years he had reside in Minneapolis .(The rest of my copy was cut off)
