Wells, Willis Ira (1872 - 1953)

GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY--Funeral services for Willis Ira Wells, 80, who died May 21, 1953, were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Methodist Church. The Rev. C. W. Chambers, Marshfield, officiated and burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Wells was born Dec. 25, 1872, in Whitehall and received his education in the Town of Hale. His marriage to the former Grace Freeman took place Dec. 25, 1894, in Whitehall. They had been residents here since 1911.

Survivors include his wife, a son, Adelbert, Greenwood four grandchildren six great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Daisy Warner, Wausau.
