HEIDI O'BLAK
Heidi O'Blak, 10, of Route 2, Loyal, Clark County was killed
by an auto while riding her bicycle one mile east of Loyal on Highway 98 at about
5 p.m., Thursday, June 8, 1978.
Services were conducted at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, at 11 a.m., Monday,
June 12. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
Officiating at the services was Rev. Chester Osowski. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal,
was in charge of arrangements.
Heidi Oblak was born on Oct. 3, 1967 in Milwaukee. She had just completed fourth
grade at St. Anthony's School. She has been living in Loyal since 1972.
A P.C.C.W. Rosary was held at 3:30 p.m., and a prayer service at 8 p.m., Sunday,
June 11.
Surviving her are her parents, Ed and Joan Oblak, Loyal; her fraternal grandmother,
Mrs. Anton Oblak, Duluth, Minn.; four sisters, Theresa, Spencer; Cynthia, Spencer;
Julia and Jennifer, both at home and three brothers, Edward, who is in the Air Force,
John, Fort Worth, Texas; and Gregory, at home.
Serving as pallbearers were Bill Zarnke, Pat Davel, Elmer Schreiner, Merlin Gardner,
David Kautzer and Donald Rosenlof.
