Windom, Theodore Elmer (1883 - 1967)
GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY Theodore Elmer Windom, 84, Greenwood, died
at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 1968 at the Memorial Home in
Neillsville, where he had resided the past five weeks.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Our Savior's
Lutheran Church here, with the Rev. Arvid Myhrwold officiating.
Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
The body will repose at the Hill Funeral Home from Sunday afternoon
until 11 a.m. Monday and then at the church.
Mr. Windom was born Aug. 7, 1883, at Melrose, Wis., and later moved
with his parents to North Dakota, where the family reside for seven
years. In 1920, they came to the Greenwood area and farmed north of
here until retiring in 1955. Since then, Mr. Windom had made his
home in the city of Greenwood. He never married.
Survivors are three brothers, Lendo, Otto and Elmer Windom, all of
Greenwood, Mrs. Ivan (Mary) Hemminger, Holcombe Misses Nelda and
Helen Windom, Greenwood.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Christ, Peter, Hans and
Oliver, and two sisters, Tena and Carrie.
