Buker, George F. (1896 - 1968)
GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY - George Fred Buker, 72, route 2,
Greenwood, died at 10 a.m. Monday, April 8, 1968 in St. Joseph's
Hospital at Marshfield, where she had been admitted earlier in the
day. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Zion United
church of Christ here, with the Rev. David Logue officiating.
Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
The body will repose at the Hill Funeral Home here from Wednesday
afternoon until 11 a.m. Thursday, and then at the church.
Mr. Buker was born March 3, 1896, in the Town of Warner, Clark
County, and later moved to the town of Mead, where he had
farmed.
He is survived by his wife, the former Bertha Braun.
A sister, Mrs. Edna Haigh, preceded him in death.
