ANTON KLIMMER
Anton Klimmer, 82, of Route 2, Loyal, Clark County, passed
away at 12:55 a.m., Thursday, June 22, 1978 in the emergency room
at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Services for Mr. Klimmer were conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, June
24 at St. Stephen s Catholic Church, Chili.
Rev. Lawrence Beiger officiated and interment was in St. Anthony's
Cemetery, Loyal. Rinka Funeral home, Loyal, was in charge of
arrangements.
Anton Klimmer was born to Frank and Margaret Klimmer in the Town of
Loyal on Aug. 11, 1895. He received his education at Pelsdorf
School and Loyal Grade School.
He was married at Fox Lake on Nov. 25, 1926 to Grace Ryan.
He worked as a mechanic for Fred Lakoski for five years, then
farmed in the town of Loyal until 1958. He then worked for
Schecklman s Shop in Chili for about five years.
He was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church and the Loyal
American Legion Post 175.
A rosary was conducted at 8 p.m., Friday, June 23. Full military
rites were conducted at the funeral by the Loyal American Legion
Post 175.
Survivors include his wife, Grace two sons, Orville of Spencer; and
Melvin of Stevens Point; two sisters, Mrs. Anita Herdrich,
Greenwood; and Mrs. Eva Riggins of Milwaukee; five grandchildren
and three step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Adeline and a brother,
Art.
Serving as pallbearers were Roman Degenhardt, Raymond Degenhardt,
Wayne Herdrich, Richard Beaver, Ronald Beaver and Edward
Degenhardt.
