Jackson, Adolph J. (1896 - 1969)
GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY--Funeral services
will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church for
Adolph J. Jackson, 73, Greenwood, who died Tuesday evening, Oct. 7,
1969, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, following a lingering
illness.
The Rev. David Wenger, pastor, will officiate and the Wallis-Hinker
American Legion Post will be in charge of military services.
Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Friday, and
then at the church.
Mr. Jackson was born April 11, 1896, at Seneca, Wis., and was
married June 8, 1921, to Adelina Behrens at Greenwood. He operated
a farm and was in the machinery business at Greenwood until 1954,
when the couple moved to Lake forest, Ill., where he was employed
as a gardener. The couple retired in 1965 and returned to
Greenwood.
He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and a .(the rest of
