Ule, Mary (1887 - 1969)
GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY--Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday
at the Hill Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic
Church in Willard for Mrs. Mary Ule, 82, who died at 2:30 a.m.
Friday, Oct. 10, 1969, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter,
Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Braun, at route 3, Greenwood.
The Rev. Michael Mertens, pastor, will officiate and burial will be
made in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Hill Funeral
Home beginning Sunday afternoon. The general rosary service will be
held there at 8 p.m. Sunday.
The former Mary Lovka was born Aug. 4, 1887, in Yugoslavia. She
came to the United States in 1905 and settled in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was married at Lorain, Ohio, in July of 1907 to Joseph Ule, who
preceded her in death. The couple came to the Willard area in 1912.
Since 1959 she had made her home with her daughter at
Greenwood.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Tillie) Garner,
Westend, Calif. Mrs. Elmer (Mary) Finstad, Chevy Chase, Md. Mrs.
Joseph (Olga) Hribar, Willard Mrs. Clayton (Alice) Braun, Greenwood
two sons, Joseph Ule, Plymouth and Edward Ule, Minneapolis, Minn.
11 grandchildren six great-grandchildren and a (the rest of my copy
