Sischo, Bessie (1873 - 1951)
 

GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY--Mrs. Arthur Sischo, 77, Greenwood, died Friday, Jan. 5, 1951, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient since Dec. 20. Death was attributed to a heart ailment.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Grace Methodist Church with the Rev. Lee Holmes officiating. Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


The body is reposing at the Schiller Funeral Home.


Mrs. Sischo, the former Bessie May Morse, was born Sept. 2, 1873, in Christie. Her marriage to William Arthur Sisch took place Sept. 24, 1889, in Neillsville. They lived in Christie a short time after their marriage before moving to Greenwood, residing there since that time.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, Merril, Wausau and Leo, Neillsville five daughters, Mrs. Ray (Ora) Richardson, Warwick, N.D. Mrs. Marvin (Nina) Engel, Spencer Mrs. Charles (Olive) Hare, and Mrs. Melvin (Altah) Thomas, Greenwood and Miss Ruth Sischo, at home 26 grandchildren 31 great-grandchildren and a brother, Harvey More, Portland, Ore.


Two sons, Sidney and Harvey, and two brothers preceded her in death.
