Trimberger, Gudrun (1900 - 1990)
Word was received of the death of Gudrun (Skar) Trimberger, age 90.
Cremation rites were handled by the Eau Claire Cremation society. A
memorial service will be held Monday, April 30, 1990, at 11:00
a.m., at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Granton.
Gudrun (Skar) Trimberger was born in Norway to Thomas and Katrina
Skar and came to Birchwood, Wis., with her family as a young girl.
She attended college in Eau Claire and taught rural schools,
including Romadka School, north of Granton. She married Walter A.
Trimberger on June 18, 1924, in Granton, who resides at Neillsville
Memorial Home, Neillsville. She and her husband were engaged in
various businesses in Granton, including home milk delivery, gas
station, and farm implement sales. She was active in church and
civic affairs.
Survivors include her husband, one son, Wayne, Willard six
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, four
sisters, one daughter and one son.
