Leiser, Jacob (1900 -
1990)
Jacob Leiser, 89, Milwaukee, formerly of Clark County, died April 19, 1990, at St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee. Funeral services were held Monday, April 23, 1990, at Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville. Rev. James Gordon officiated. Burial was in the Town of Mentor Cemetery, Humbird. Family members served as pallbearers.
Jacob Leiser was born Aug. 5, 1900, in Bern, Switzerland. He
received his education there. He came to the U.S. in 1933. He
farmed in Humbird for a short time, then moved to Eau Claire, where
he worked on road construction and worked for the Press Steel Tank
Co., retiring in 1965.
Survivors include five daughters, Mae Leiser, Ruth Leiser, Eula
Leiser, Elizabeth, Leiser and Verna Huddleston, all of Milwaukee
three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, and four
daughters.
Gesche Funeral Home, Inc. handled the arrangements.
