Jakobi, John (1907 - 1991)
John Jakobi, 83, Greenwood, died Monday,
March 25, 1991, at St. Joseph's Hospital emergency room,
Marshfield. He had been a resident of the Marshfield Living Center
for the past 3 weeks. The body will be cremated. A memorial service
will be held Monday, April 1, 1991, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran
Church, Greenwood.
John Jakobi was born Oct. 6, 1907, in the Town of York to Fred and
Anna (nee Mahloch). He attended Romadka Schools. He married Jane
Brown June 20, 1932, in Neillsville. He farmed all his life in the
Greenwood, Loyal and Neillsville areas.
Surviving him are his wife two sons, Harry of New Berlin, and
Gerald of Birmingham, Ala. one daughter, Mavis Liebzeit, Greenwood,
eight grandchildren two great-grandchildren three
step-great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Anita Schmidt,
Belgium, Wis.
