MRS. HARRY PLUNKETT


Funeral services for Mrs. Harry (Frances) Plunkett, 77, route 1, Greenwood, Clark County, were conducted at 10 a.m., Monday, July 3 at St. Mary's church.


Mrs. Plunkett passed away at 1:25 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 1978 at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.


Officiating at the services was Rev. Robert Houston. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery at Tomah.


A prayer service was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 2. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.
Frances Evangelisto was born on Sept 26, 1901 in Pennsylvania. She received her education at St. Paul, Minn. Schools.
On Jan. 17, 1923, she was married in Chicago, Ill. To Harry Plunkett.


They lived in River Forest, Ill. Until 1938, when they moved to Greenwood, where she has been a resident ever since.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood.


She is survived by five sons, Patrick of Chippewa Falls, Joseph of Bloomington, Minn., Harry, Jr. of Milwaukee, George of Dellwood, Wis. And Timothy of La Crescent, Minn. one daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Alice) McCarty of Park Forest, Ill. four sisters, Mrs. Inez McCarthy of Ironwood, Mich., Mrs. Estelle Banks of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mrs. Lorraine D'atononio of Waukegan, Ill., and sister Loretta Marie of Spokane, Wash. 30 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.


Preceding her in death were her husband one brother one sister and one son, Leroy.


Serving as pallbearers were Patrick, Joseph, Harry, Jr., George and Timothy Plunkett and Dennis McCarty, all sons and one brother-in-law.
