Hunt, Frank Alfred (1905 - 1990)
Frank Hunt, 84, Colby, died at St. Joseph's
Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield, Thursday, Feb. 8, 1990, at 3:25 p.m.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 10, 1990, at the First
United Church of Christ, Colby. Rev. Kenneth Dix officiated. Burial
was in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Nephews and grandsons
served as pallbearers.
Frank Hunt was born Nov. 18, 1905, in Dorchester to Alfred and Ida
May (Winchell) Hunt. He received his education in Dorchester. He
was among the first graduated class at Dorchester High School in
1925. He married Juliana Werner on Nov. 14, 1929, in Dorchester. He
was employed as a Standard Oil agent for Dorchester, Abbotsford,
Colby, and Unity until his retirement in 1965. He was a member of
the First United Church of Christ, the Colby 204 Masonic Lodge F
am, the Eau Claire Consistory and Zor Shrine. He had served as
Clerk for the Colby Grade School and treasurer for First United
Church of Christ, Colby.
Surviving him are his wife, one son, Stuart F. Hunt, Waukesha three
sisters, Mrs. Irma Lappnow, Milwaukee Mrs. Mina Schroeder,
Schofield Mrs. Anita Douglas, Pasadena, Tex. four grandchildren and
one great-grandchild.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Rux Funeral Home, Colby, was in charge of the arrangements.
