Beaver, Bernard J. Sr. (1897 - 1990)
Bernard J. Beaver Sr., 92, formerly of Loyal,
died Monday, Jan. 8, 1990, at 6:15 a.m., at Neillsville Memorial
Home, Neillsville. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 11,
1990, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Father Chester
Osowski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery
will full military rites.
Bernard Beaver was born July 23, 1897, in the Town of Loyal, to
John and Mary (Domine) Beaver. He received his education in the
Mack School and at St. Anthony's. He married Rosetta Ryan on Dec.
29, 1927, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. They farmed and
he worked at a machine shop in Loyal. Later he worked in
Marshfield, and after retiring he worked at the Hotel Charles,
Marshfield. He was a WWI veteran and a member of the Loyal American
Legion.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Sylvia)
Pickett, Spencer three sons, Richard Beaver, Loyal Bernard Beaver
Jr., Milwaukee Ronald Beaver, Oak Creek 12 grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and 18 brothers and
sisters.
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
