Marion Pope, 75, Oshkosh, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 1990, in her home. Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 4, 1990, at Seefeld-Oregon St. Chapel. Rev. James Reiff officiated. Burial was in Lake View Memorial Park.

Marion (Rusch) Pope was born July 20, 1914, to William and Mary (Moldenhauer) Rusch at Loyal. She married Melvin Pope in Appleton on June 24, 1939. She was a devoted housewife with interests in literature, nature and oil painting.

Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mrs. David (Judith) Weiss, Omro Laurel Benedict, Verona, N.J. five sisters, Esther Buse, Spencer Ethel Erickson, Glenview, Ill. Linda Dawson, Placerville, Calif. Helen Thums, Tempe, Ariz. Lucille Rothenback, Oshkosh one brother, Harold Rusch, Orland, Calif. And three grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were five sisters and one brother.
